Initial Investment
The total estimated cost to open a Funky Munky Shaved Ice Franchise ranges from $47,950 up to $90,900. The total initial investment includes the Initial Franchise Fee, the purchase and outfitting of a trailer to operate from, equipment, inventory, insurance, permits, initial payroll, etc. Generally, a prospective Franchisee should have $70,000 in liquid assets. Funky Munky Shaved Ice does not provide financing to Franchisees.
A Seasonal Business
Your Funky Munky Shaved Ice Franchise will operate seasonally in the Spring/Summer and into the Fall as long as possible. Imagine, after a successful and rewarding season of hard work serving your community, being able to have time to spend with family and recharging before preparing to reopen again in the Spring! We have learned throughout our years of building and growing Funky Munky Shaved Ice, that a seasonal Franchise model that operates from a mobile trailer is the best model for long-term success in this industry.
Steps & Timeline to Opening
After submitting the Franchise Inquiry Form, we will contact you to ask and answer additional questions. If approved as a Franchise Applicant, you will then enter into a Franchise Agreement with Funky Munky Shaved Ice. Once the Agreement has been executed, we will begin working with you on training and preparing your location to Open the following Spring. Generally, we schedule New Franchisee training and setup in the Fall/Winter months when things slow down so that we can provide the best possible training and support without rushing the timeline. We are committed to supporting our Franchisees to ensure their success! You will not be "thrown to the wolves"; our team will be there for you throughout the entire process of opening your new business and will provide ongoing support.
